Volunteer Shrub Planting Day at the CALC Johnson Preserve

Thank you to the CALC Volunteers that sacrificed their morning Saturday, May 5th, at the Johnson Preserve. Their volunteering helped us plant trees and bushes on the preserve. With their planting work on Saturday, the animals will have a better habitat.

We were glad the weather was better than we could have hoped for after this odd spring. Tom Anderson was happy that so many turned out to take over the work so he could oversee and organize. The signage for the preserve has been ordered and the two-track trails will need some cleaning. Then it should be at the point that people can start to enjoy the preserve even more.
