#526 was the winning number. The winning ticket holder is Bette Jackson from Traverse City, an adventurous woman who is certainly not afraid of heights –

Bette spent four days hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru with lots of breathtakingly high places.

Bette also has Mackinac Bridge experience. Her name was drawn to be one of 300 runners to run the Mackinac Bridge prior to the annual Labor Day Bridge Walk a few years ago.

Bette was born and raised in Michigan and says she well remembers when the Mighty Mac was built….at that time the longest suspension bridge in the world. It was such an impressive engineering feat and came in early and under budget something that is unheard of today.

Bette said, “Since retiring I have spent volunteer time on the Inland Seas school ship teaching students the history, science and preservation of the world’s greatest surface fresh water resource. I am so looking forward to having a birds-eye view of this incredible expanse of water.”
