Johnson Autumn Olive

Autumn Olive is easy to see and there’s lots of it.

Left unattended it has gotten out of control.

In these photos volunteers are experimenting with how best to control it.

When it starts choking out other native plants it is best
to try to limit the spread of invasive vegetation.

 

CALC will apply for a grant to help out with the costs for this endeavor.

Next spring look for an invitation for volunteers
to help with this major, but beneficial project.
